ANNE RYAN - BUSINESSWOMAN - ARTIST - SCULPTOR

Anne Herkins Ryan was born and grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas, where she married, before she and her husband, Jack Ryan, came to the East Coast. She now resides in Maryland.

In addition to being a full time businesswoman as co-founder and First Vice-President of Ryan Advisors, a hospital planning and management firm, she raised seven children and was an artist working in several media. Notably, at 5'0", she wielded a chainsaw to do a huge wood sculpture made from the trunk of a large tree.

She studied at the Corcoran Gallery School of Art.
