Lord, Jesus, let me remember always
that my days on this earth are numbered,
and fewer day by day, while the afterlife is forever.

Let me do all I can to deserve unending union with You
and let me not be condemned to the eternal fires of hell.

Please keep my destiny constantly before me
in every decision and every action of my life.

Please give me constant help to keep my eye on heaven
and to resist the wicked temptations of the world
and the seductive snares of Satan.

Please let me never, never, ever, be separated from You
and from all eternal goodness with your saints
but rather come at last to be united with You forever.

Save me Lord God from dark dangers and evil temptations.
Help me always to step away from Satan's gaudy lures.

Welcome me one day, my Master God,
into your kingdom past the farthest stars
and beyond our human imagination,
filled with glories which eye has not seen nor ear heard.

Let me live for all eternity in union with You!
All this I pray with all my heart,
