God of Innocents,

Please bless the Catholic Whistleblowers,
a group of current and former priests, women religious, brothers, deacons, and laypersons who actively support survivors of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.

They have courageously taken up the effort
to track down and root out molesters from
the clergy.

You know, Lord, that bishops and leaders
of religious orders, seeking to avoid exposure and scandal, have moved child molesters from one parish or school
or diocese to another, instead of reporting them to the police.

Those who molest children are criminals,
and religious entities which transfer
and hide them are complicit in their crimes.

Please help these sinning predators,
and those who shield them, to face up to,
and atone for, their damaging criminal conduct.

Please, moreover, give Your great, powerful assistance to all the victims of this abuse.

Help them to regain mental stability, freedom from psychological confusion and guilt,
clarity of conscience, and a new and healthy sexual orientation. Bless them generously with Your strength, and lead them to find normal companionship, happy marriage and families, loving partners or compassionate friends -- leaving behind nightmare memories
of their abused innocence.

God of Children, God of Purity, God of Love, please shower great blessings on the men
and women of the Catholic Whistleblowers
in their singular and courageous effort
to cleanse the Temple of the Lord,
and assuage the pain of innocent victims
of abuse.

All this I pray, in the name of the innocents involved.
