Prayers: Days of Grace

DAYS OF GRACE

As I stumble through my days
Accept, my Lord, my humble praise
With lamps of grace please show my way
In dark of night and light of day.

Please set my mind on highest things
And speed my prayers on angels’ wings.
Strengthen me when I am weak
And only good words let me speak.

Please bless my prayers for all my friends
That they may live to happy ends
And hold my soul within Your heart
That we may never be apart.

May every act of will I make
Account me well for heaven’s sake
That one day I may rise above
To live in Your eternal love.

Gentle Jesus, Brother mine
Take me in Your arms divine
That I may see Your holy face
And rest in your secure embrace.
