FRIEND IN NEED

God of All People,

Please look down with favor this day
on my good friend who is in great need.

Please open a new door to a new solution, and lift up my friend who needs Your help, and who needs new hope, in this dark hour.

I know that with You, all things are always
are possible. I beg you to answer this prayer, for my friend at this time.

You, of course, know my friend's real needs
much better than I.

Please reach down Your merciful hand
with the assistance which can make
all the difference in the world.

I pray in hope and trust that this may be Your will, and that Your will may be done,
speedily and surely.

I will be your very grateful servant
if this request can be answered.

You feel is best for my challenged friend
in this difficult moment.
