Prayers - Imperishable

IMPERISHABLE!

Dear Lord,

My God, Creator, how thrilling
and frightening, sobering, awe-inspiring
and humbling are these words:

We are imperishable!
We are children of God!

Jesus, God, became human like us
and is Our Brother and Savior,
Who gave His life for us on the cross.
We shall live forever!

Let me recognize in these words the glorious,
profound and impenetrable mysteries
of creation and salvation.

Let these words be often in my thoughts
and in my heart: I am a child of God!
I am imortal!

I pray in hope and humility to You, my God Immortal, Word Incarnate, my Lord, my Hope, my King and my Salvation.

I cannot perish in Your protection.
