TRUTH

God
of Wisdom, thank you for giving me
the gift of faith, the gift of truth.
I
pray for the disbelievers of all ages.
I pray that they make honest and intense efforts
to perceive the reality
of Your majesty, Your goodness
and Your love for us, You, Who told us,
"I am the Truth and the Light."
I
pray for all those who speak equality
to power, who speak truth to falsehood,
who speak bravery against intimidation
and coercive false governments, and those who
speak truth even to Your own church
when she or her servants go astray.
Let
me remember that only the Truth
will make us free.
Let me always remember that faith is a gift.
It is not certainty but rather is our trust
in You and trust in the promises You have made
to us, Your creations and Your children,
for all eternity.
Keep
me always truthful,
and my faith always strong and true.
