Jesus, Son of Man,

Hanging on a cross, bloody, forsaken by all accept Your Mother, some women followers, and Your beloved disciple, John,
You endured fierce pain to redeem
a sinful world.

Your torturing cross became a bright symbol of redemption for all people.

Let me never see a cross or crucifix without recalling the sacrifice You made for me.

Thank You, Lord, for my salvation.

Please receive me one day into Your heavenly kingdom, to be with You forever and forever.
