SUN GOD

God of All Creation,

On the ---Day, You created the sun and the moon....

the light of the sun is so powerful that staring into it can produce blindness.

Many ancient peoples worshipped the sun as if it were You, Yourself.

Thomas Jefferson called the sun his "almighty physician."

Let its rising in the East bed the symbol to me of new beginnings, new chances, new opportunities, new challenges and new blessings.

Let it setting at the end of day be to me a gift of peace, relaxation forgtiveness, and hope for yet another day and another renewal.
